Imagi Studios aren't ready to give up, they're stilla round and looks like they're determined to release the movie Gatchaman! Here's a new preview clip:

Gatchaman Trailer

You've probably heard about about Imagi's financial woes, well it's a quite sad story... I guess in a last attempt to shed a positive light on their great work they released an early movie trailer of Gatchaman, enjoy below:

It's a hell of Gatchaman trailer, really sad that the project has been put to a halt... Let's hope that some angel will come to save Gatchaman, so we may enjoy it on the big screen, or at least on DVD!

Gatchaman First Teaser Trailer

Gatchaman, aka Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, was originally a Japanese animated series created in the 1970's. The series was centered around five young superhero ninja working under the guide of Dr. Kozaburo Nambu of the 'International Science Organization' to oppose a group of technologically advanced villains, known as Galactor, from trying to take control of the earth's natural resources.
Gatchaman is better known in the USA under the title 'Battle of the Planets' or 'G-Force'.

Hong-Kong-based Imagi Animation Studios have decided to revamp the franchise and to make a brand new CGI movie.

Here below the first official Gatchaman teaser trailer:

Plot:
"Set in a future world grappling with environmental and technological issues, the story focuses on five reluctant heroes whose remarkable genetic code makes them Earth's only hope of defeating extra-terrestrial invaders." (Source: Imagi Animation Studios)

This movie adaptation of Gatchaman looks rather promising judging from this 10-second clip: at least it looks much better than the latest TMNT movie by Imagi...

I wonder if the voice command used by the superheroes team will be 'Bird Go!' as in the original series.
